Savrda, Tomas

Tomas Savrda was born in Czechoslovakia and studied at the Hollar School of Visual Arts in Prague.  After a few years working as a graphic designer in Prague, he spent a year in France, and then moved to the United States, where he began a long career as a graphic designer and computer graphic artist for numerous clients and agencies.  Mr. Savrda is now pursuing his main interest-creating sculptural art and kinetic objects using metal and wood full-time.  He has received numerous awards for his work, which can be found in many galleries throughout the U.S..  He lives and works on Long Island, New York.
