When planning…Wondering, dreaming, creating.Why do I like this view so much….is it the light?Some cherished family memory? How can I create a something solid of that memory or feeling.Why do some works touch my soul?Mature or cliché subjects.

When creating….What paper color to use.Hard or soft pastels.Realistic or abstract. Warm or cool.Spontaneous or meticulously planned.Favorite colors or new experiments. Classical or contemporary.

Afterwards…. does the work make me smile. Does Jean like it?Annie?
