“Fragments”
March 2 – April 3, 2010 | Artist’s Reception: Wednesday, March 3rd, 5-7pm
Kristin Kuhn's exhibit titled, “Fragments” references the vocabulary of both landscape depiction and domestic arts. The works are constructions of conversational fragments about place; home, land and nature.
Sentences made from pleats and seams, threads and fibers are bound together with thoughts of space and depth, scale and proportion.
Kuhns began her life in Eugene, 1957. She now lives in West Salem, maintaining a studio at her home and teaching part-time. She began exhibiting 30 years ago and is presently represented by Mary Lou Zeek Gallery in Salem.
The show will run from March 2nd through April 3rd, 2010 with an artist reception to be held 1st Wednesday, March 3rd, 5-7pm.
