A Collaborative “Group” Painting

October, 2010

For the sixth consecutive year the Mary Lou Zeek Gallery featured a collaborative group show during the month of October. Twelve Oregon artists each painted for a day in the Mary Lou Zeek Gallery to recreate Frida Kahlo’s Self-Portrait dedicated to Dr. Eloesser. Each artist painted in their own style with their own medium on one shared canvas. The finished piece will be sold and the proceeds put into an Artists-in-Need-Fund. In addition, the gallery featured a showing of paintings by each of the twelve artists during the month of October.

Participating Artists: Mark Clarke, Alison O’Donoghue, Renee Hartig, Elizabeth Bauman, Kristin Kuhns, Deborah DeWit, Nancy Lindburg, Robert Schlegel, Shannon Richardson, Carolyn Garcia, Jane Aukshunas and Sue-Del McCulloch.
